Blossom Dance Students With R&B Group ALLURE |
Fios TV “Push Pause” NJ came to run a story on Blossom Sisters Foundation. Tom Didonato came in with cameras ready to film our dancers. “Push Pause” is a program that films organizations and community efforts in NJ.
The Blossom students also had a surprise guest came to the dance studio; R&B Female Group “Allure”. They sang to the students and spoke to the children about the importance of dance arts. Allure are official spoke persons for Blossom Sisters Foundation. Members of the group are, Alia Davis, Lalisha McClean & Akissa Mendez. They released their debut self-titled album in 1997. The album featured the gold-selling single "Head Over Heels" (featuring Nas) "All Cried Out" (featuring 112), a Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam cover and their biggest hit to date.
Blossom Sisters Foundation (BSF) is a charitable arts organization started by sisters in 2008, dedicated to building and enabling communities to participate in dance art programs who would otherwise unable to afford it. BSF recently partnered with Bergen Cap Head Start of Hackensack and Garfield NJ. They offered partial dance art scholarships to children (ages 2.5-16 years old) of low-income and disadvantaged families to attend professional dance classes at Blossom Dance Studio. Some of our classes, Pre-ballet, Ballet, Jazz and Hip-Hop and are held at Blossom Dance Studio, located at 861 Main Street, Hackensack, NJ.
We have a few slots left for the Winter/Spring dance season (Jan-June 2013). To see if your child qualifies for a dance scholarship, please visit us online at www.blossomsistersfoundation.org or call us at (201)-546-7699.
